Refund Policy

Fair, transparent refunds — last updated 13 March 2026

At AustralianEdu.au, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy outlines when refunds are available, how to request one, and your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Australian Consumer Law Guarantee

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the ACL.

2. Digital Products — One-Time Purchases

  • All products are delivered digitally and are available for immediate access upon purchase.
  • If you have not accessed or viewed any exam content, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
  • If you have accessed exam content, refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis (see “When Refunds Are Granted” below).

3. Membership Subscriptions

  • Monthly and annual memberships renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial-month refunds are provided.
  • If you cancel within 48 hours of an unwanted renewal and have not used the service during the new billing period, you may request a full refund of the renewal charge.
  • Free trial periods (if offered) will not be charged if cancelled before the trial ends.

4. When Refunds Are Granted

  • Duplicate or accidental purchases: Full refund provided — contact us with your order details.
  • Technical issues: If a persistent technical issue prevents access to purchased Content and our support team is unable to resolve it within 5 business days.
  • Product not as described: If the Content materially differs from the product listing or description on the website.
  • Unaccessed content within 14 days: If no exam content has been accessed, viewed, or downloaded within 14 days of purchase.
  • Major failure under ACL: Where the product has a major failure as defined by Australian Consumer Law.

5. When Refunds Are Not Available

  • After exam content has been accessed, viewed, or downloaded (unless a major failure applies).
  • Requests made more than 14 days after purchase where Content has been accessed.
  • Dissatisfaction with exam results or outcomes — our products are practice materials and do not guarantee specific results, scores, or school placements.
  • Change of mind after accessing Content.
  • Failure to use the product within the access period (12 months).
  • Promotional or discounted purchases, unless the product has a major failure.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at admin@australianedu.au with the following information:

  • Your full name and email address associated with the account.
  • Order number or transaction reference.
  • Date of purchase.
  • Reason for the refund request.

We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days (processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider).

7. Chargebacks & Disputes

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or dispute through your bank or payment provider. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending investigation. If a chargeback is found to be fraudulent or unjustified, we reserve the right to recover the disputed amount plus any associated fees.

8. School & Bulk Licences

School and bulk licence refunds are subject to the specific terms agreed upon at the time of purchase. Partial refunds may be available depending on usage and the terms of the licence agreement. Please contact admin@australianedu.au for school-specific enquiries.
