🔑 Check against the command word
For every mark lost, check whether your response addressed the command word used (describe/explain/compare/evaluate) rather than just recalling a fact.
🔑 Check your Application and Data Evaluation answers separately
Pedigree and epidemiological-evaluation questions are marked on the specific skill demonstrated (correct genotype reasoning, identifying a genuine confounding variable, a supported validity judgement) – review these against the model answer just as carefully as content questions.
