How and when to apply

Who applies	Parent or guardian registers the student online through the Edutest portal (edutest.com.au)
Eligibility	Students currently in Year 5 or 6 who will enter Year 7 the following year
Registration opens	Typically May–June each year
Registration closes	Typically late July (check Edutest website for exact date)
Registration fee	Approximately $99 (paid at time of registration)
Test date	Typically mid-August at a designated test centre
Results	Approximately 4–6 weeks after the test, released through schools

💡 Exam Tip: Register as early as possible. Test centre spots can fill up, especially in metropolitan areas.
