Learn 5 new vocabulary words per day from a word list. For analogies, identify the relationship type first (part/whole, cause/effect, etc.). Practice odd-one-out with categories.
Do 10 number sequence and ratio problems daily. Write the rule for each sequence before answering. For word problems, underline the question first.
Read the questions before the passage. Underline key words in each question. For “best word” questions, eliminate synonyms that don’t fit the context.
Practise without a calculator. For each topic area, do 5 questions per day. Prioritise fractions, percentages and geometry — these appear most often.
Write one short timed piece (15 min) every 2–3 days. Focus on your opening sentence — it sets the tone for the whole response. Read model answers and annotate what they do well.
