
Individual student reports are typically sent to families in June or July. Schools receive results first and then distribute them to parents.
Talk to your child’s teacher first. NAPLAN is one data point and teachers will have a fuller picture. Together you can identify areas for support.
For Years 3 and 5, NAPLAN does not affect placement. For Years 7 and 9, some schools may reference NAPLAN data in placement or subject selection processes.
National and school-level results are published on the My School website (myschool.edu.au) each year.
