ICAS Year 7 Paper E — Post-Mock Analysis

Reviewing results is where real learning happens. Don’t just look at your score — understand WHY each wrong answer was wrong.

Step 1: Record your score

Note your raw score for each subject. Track it across mocks to see genuine improvement.

Step 2: Categorise your errors

For each wrong answer: (a) careless error, (b) knowledge gap, (c) misread the question. Different causes need different fixes.

Step 3: Re-read the Study Guide

Return to the relevant Study Guide section for every topic you struggled with.

Step 4: Redo the hardest questions

Go back to your 5 hardest questions WITHOUT looking at answers. Try to work through them fresh.

Step 5: Set a target

Based on your score, what do you need to change to reach the next medal band?
