ACER-L2 1.2 🎯 – How to Use This Pack

Step 1 – Read the guides first

Work through the ACER Guide and Skills sections before attempting any mock. The ACER format is distinctive – understanding it before your first attempt is essential.

Step 2 – Attempt each mock under real conditions

Sit all 4 sections timed. The exam is typically held on a Saturday morning at the school. Practise the full sitting to build endurance.

Step 3 – Review every explanation carefully

ACER questions test reasoning – understanding why you got something wrong teaches you a pattern of thinking, not just one answer.

Step 4 – Review your Writing against the model

Compare your Written Expression responses to the model responses. Identify specific techniques you can adopt.

💡 The two Written Expression tasks are designed to be different styles. Task 1 is typically narrative or imaginative. Task 2 is typically persuasive or discursive. Be prepared for both in every mock.
